At the request of Paul's wife, I write to let you know that Paul McConaughy died very suddenly on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Typical of Paul's professional and personal curiosity and  commitments, Paul was in his Office and curating for future Blog posts on Tuesday morning.  You may receive  posts to the Blog over the next several days that Paul triggered for automatic postings.  This sad news of Paul's death is stunning. 

At this time, it is unclear whether or not there will be future posts to Paul's Update at pie-up.blogspot.com.   The past postings remain.
